Some history
- Central
Museum of Communications AS Popov -
one of the oldest scientific - technical museums in the world, founded in 1872 . The building which houses the museum is an architectural
monument of the last quarter of the XVIII century.
- The palace was designed by Giacomo Quarenghi for Prince A.A.Bezborodko who led the post office in the reign Catherine II
