My career
- I
started my career in the company as a sales manager in 2010. For about
a year my job was to consult the clients about the services provided
and to register the telephone and internet subscribers. Later I was
promoted to the position of public relations manager (pr manager).
My current job
- Now
I work as a PR manager. I’m responsible for concluding contracts with big companies.
I negotiate with the representatives of different firms and offer
them our services in telephoning and internet. I also deal with the
advertising of our services. My work is to organize different advertising
actions among the local residents. Once a half-year we make such actions
as “Megapolzuni” – that is a race for little children, we take part in social events,
for example hockey matches, where we are the partners and give presents.

full name of the company is Joint Stock Company Megafon. It is one of the greatest providers of telecommunication
services in Russia. The company has over 25 thousand employees and about 64 646 707 subscribers.
There are Megafon offices all over the country. According to ComNews Research Megafon is the leader of Russian mobile internet providers.
According to AC&M Consulting data, the company occupies 24,3 % of the Russian cellular communication market.
The history of the company
- The
history of JSC Megafon starts from June 17th 1993, when the Closely Held Stock Company “North-West
GSM” was registered. By 1999 the company had already over 100 000 subscribers
and by November 2001 the number of subscribers was over 500 000. as
the result of rebranding “North-West GSM” was renamed “Megafon” and the new logotype was created. In 2007 the
company introduced the new third generation net standard (3G). Now Megafon provides
the opportunity to use the fourth generation net standard (4G)

the blocks of shares are the possession of AF Telecom Group (50%). TeliaSonera
holds 25,17% of shares. 8,82% belong to the sub-company of Megafon

belongs to Anfimako Ltd. The rest block, that is 14,75% of stocks is
free-floating.

in 2010 was 215,5 billion rubles (in 2009 it was 181,9 billion
rubles), the clear profit was 49,17 billion rubles (45,3 billion
